Gil Sternberg has multiple roles within the Eagle Group, where he has held various positions for over 20 years. Mr. Sternberg currently serves as a board director at Eagle Trading Systems Inc. (“Eagle”), a US-based CTA manager, and is an NFA member. Mr. Sternberg is also the Chairman and CIO of Eagle Labs Capital (Israel) Ltd., which manages the Eagle China Fund LP, as well as retail quant funds with The Phoenix Group in Israel. Mr. Sternberg also serves as Chairman of Eagle Labs (Shanghai) Limited Company, which focuses on the Chinese markets, and Managing Director of Eagle Trading Systems (R&D) Ltd., Eagle’s R&D center.
Mr. Sternberg served as Eagle’s Director of Systems Development from June 2006 until December 2007, and prior to that, he was a Senior Systems Designer and then the Head of Systems Development.
Prior to joining Eagle in 2002, Mr. Sternberg was employed by RiT Technologies (“RiT”), a NASDAQ traded company from 1999 through August 2002. In the position of Project Manager, he oversaw the design and development of complex, real-time, algorithm centric enterprise applications. Before joining RiT, Mr. Sternberg served as Staff Sergeant in the field of data analysis for the Intelligence Corps (8200) of the Israel Defense Forces from 1994 through 1997.
Mr. Sternberg received a B.A. in Computer Science with honors from the Reichman University, Israel in 2001.
